Bull Elephant

We didn’t see a lot of Elephants during our 10 nights in Botswana. We only saw one breeding herd in Kwara and only a handful of Bulls in both Khwai and Kwara. This was down to the rains having just arrived and the majority of elephants had followed their instincts and the rain looking for fresh food.

This magnificent bull was enjoying the fresh water the rains had bought with a couple of other fellows until a pack of five wild dogs arrived with the remains of an impala an disturbed them.
